Overview

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working from a remote setting, able to support a range of appointment times and hold a nationally accredited personal training certification. This team member will be eager to contribute to the mission of SiteWell Solutions, have the ability to problem solve and possess a solutions-oriented outlook. The individual should be comfortable working with a range of participants from different backgrounds with varying goals. It is also important that the candidate be capable of utilizing innovative virtual techniques to support fun and engaging interactions with individuals and groups.

Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group fitness training sessions in a virtual format
- Provide educational workshops/seminars in a virtual format
- Support clients with varying goals including weight management, increased cardiovascular endurance, increased strength, improved mobility, injury prevention, sport or competition goals and other goals that relate to participant goals.
- Demonstrate the ability to plan effective training sessions around limited access to fitness equipment.
- Support content development for participants including presentations, informational handouts and other web-based resources.
- Maintain an up-to-date schedule with a variety of times and days for availability to support participants.
- Possess the appropriate hardware and internet connectivity needed to provide virtual services in a professional manner.
- Have access to a private, quiet location from which virtual services can be provided.
Required experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred.
- Experience in supporting clients through virtual platforms is preferred.
- Experience with movement screenings (FMS, CES, or other) preferred.
- Experience coaching clients towards measurable results preferred.
Required skills
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of Exercise Science, Athletic Training, or equivalent.
- Maintain nationally recognized personal training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Maintain current Red Cross CPR and First Aid certification.
- Comfortable with technology including but not limited to video conferencing, online scheduling, presentation platforms such as PowerPoint, Excel.
